Letter: Thanks for supporting annual Easter event

Westminster Presbyterian Church of Austin would like to thank the community for their support of our Annual Easter Event which was held on April 15, 2017.  We’d also like to thank Hy-Vee, Shopko, Sterling Main Street, Walgreens and Wal-Mart for the wonderful donations given for our event.  We are thankful for our church members and groups who donated towards this event as well to make this a wonderful family time with over 300 people in attendance.

God’s Word, telling of the Easter message, was shared before the kids played carnival games, made a craft, enjoyed a snack, watched an amazing puppet and magic show by Jim Jayes and then headed outside for a fun egg hunt with over 1,100 eggs to find! Special thanks to Jim Jayes for his delightful puppet performance and the many church members for volunteering their time.  Each year, we look forward to seeing you all!

Cynthia Goskeson,

Christian Education Director, Westminster Presbyterian Church of Austin
